Marriage Lines

Marriages lines on the palm are indicated by the little lines that start on the hand just below the little finger and run over onto the pad of flesh below the little finger. Usually you will find several light lines, indicating romances, and one more lines that are strong and clear. These show actual unions. If there is more than one marriage, the lower line represents the earlier one; the upper lines, a second, third, and so on. If there is only one marriage indicated, the nearer it is to the base of the little finger on the palm, the later in life it will be. Little lines that run down to intersect the marriage line indicate children who will be born to the marriage.

The Life Line
The Life line is one line you will always find on the palm. It begins on the side of the palm between the thumb and index finger and heads down the middle of the palm along the base of the thumb. Usually, but not always. It is distinct. Sometimes it is doubled or even tripled. It can be quite short or very long. All these characteristics have special meaning – as do the markings along it.

Palmist
Palmist is also called palmistry or experts prefer terms such as chirognomy, chirology, or chiromancy from the Greek word cheir, meaning hand. Palmist is a method of predicting the future by reading the marks on person’s palm, but which also includes an analysis of hand shape, fingers and fingernails.

The Mounts
There are eight mounts in the palmistry. Mounts are the fleshy parts of the palm of your hand that have different characteristic meaning for each other.
